Aftercare
* Skin may feel warm, tight or flushed for several hours — this is completely normal. * Use only the post-treatment Medik8 products provided or recommended. * Avoid touching the skin unnecessarily for the first day. * No makeup for 24–48 hours to prevent bacteria entering the skin. * Hydrate generously — both internally and with gentle serums. * Avoid all products containing fragrance, actives or exfoliants. * Use a cooling, hydrating sheet mask after 24 hours if needed. * LED sessions can be done every 2–3 days for enhanced healing. * Expect mild dryness or flaking in the following days — do not pick.
Precautions
* No sweating, vigorous exercise, hot showers, heat, or steam for 48 hours. * Avoid sun exposure; apply SPF daily but avoid applying sunscreen in the first 12 hours. * Avoid AHAs, BHAs, retinol, vitamin C, benzoyl peroxide and scrubs for 5–7 days. * Do not swim, use spas or saunas for 72 hours. * Avoid waxing, threading or depilatory creams on treated areas for 10 days. * Do not pick flaking skin — allow it to shed naturally. * Use clean pillowcases and avoid pets touching the face for 48 hours.
